About Trash to Treasure

Trash to Treasure is a company-led sustainability initiative born from the urgent need to address the harmful impacts of plastic waste and climate change. Through our program: discarded plastic, especially used Urban Kitchen products, are transformed into durable reusable eco-lumber and other upcycled products. This innovative approach promotes a circular economy by continuously reusing materials, significantly reducing the environmental footprint.
Partnering with Precious Plastics Philippines, Sentinel Upcycling, and other upcyclers, we aim to create sustainable solutions that reduce waste while providing long-term value to communities. Together, these partnerships drive environmental change at the grassroots level, ensuring a meaningful and lasting impact.

Natureware by Melawares
This eco-friendly line of tableware, launched in 2017, provides sustainable options made from upcycled materials like recycled PET and renewable resources such as bamboo fiber. Natureware aims to reduce the environmental footprint of everyday dining without compromising on style or functionality.
- Recycled PET: This material is more sustainable because it upcycles what would otherwise be ocean-bound or landfill-bound plastic, transforming it into reusable tableware. This process reduces environmental harm while providing functional, long-lasting products.
- Renewable Materials: The bamboo-fiber and wood-grain mix products offer an alternative to traditional plastic, utilizing renewable resources to minimize environmental impact.
